Effects of Climate Change on Lake Winnebago

The graph shows an upward trend in water level similar to the trend that is happening in the Great Lakes. The graphs for maximum yearly maximum and average stage heights are shown below. The dip in stage height every winter is due to the fact that the water level is regulated. It is regulated under the Linde plan from the early 1980's and the water level is taken down every winter in order to help the aquatic life.

The graph for maximum water level does not show an upward trend, however it shows that over the past 30 years, 3 of the 4 highest water levels recorded have occurred within the past 6 years. The average stage height graph shows an upward trend similar to the continuous data.
