Effects of Climate Change on Lake Winnebago
The data shows and increasing trend in the water level in Lake Winnebago. Therefore surrounding communities should be prepared to face the consequences of the rising water levels. Additional analysis that could be conducted would be to include wind data. The wind data can show if there have been increases in storms during over time. There is currently not a lot of wind data available so I didn't include it in this project. Also looking at water levels before 1980 would provide a better understanding of how much the stage height is actually increasing. Other data that could be useful would be the water levels in the Fox and Wolf Rivers. Since the water level in Lake Winnebago is controlled by dams, this data would give an accurate representation of what is happening in the surrounding areas.
